What To Bring On A Stag WeekendA stag weekend can be fun, especially with all the wrong people. However, there are some things you need to debate bringing along.Make sure that you bring along appropriate clothing. If you're going white-water rafting, a tuxedo is probably not the best idea. Make sure that all clothing is comfortable, and appropriate to the situation. Also, fun shirts are acceptable; this is probably the one time you can bring those fun T-shirts and not get in trouble for it. Just don't bring too many? Those loud Hawaiian print shirts? Definitely the occasion. Have fun with the wardrobe, just make sure you have shorts if you need shorts, and pants if you need pants. A lot of people forget to bring toothbrushes. Remember that you will probably be going to places where the nearest pharmacy is miles away; it is not a few minutes away by any stretch. Thus, make it a point to remember your various toiletries, and anything else you use to get ready for the day. Oh, and along those lines, don't forget any medicine or glasses; it's not that easy to get them in the woods. You may want to debate bringing a camera. It may be better to bring an old-fashioned film camera over a digital one; it may take more space, but you don't have to worry about batteries wearing out as quickly or if the camera gets wet. Also, you can always have the film developed on CD's. However, if you sleep deep and have friends that are always looking for pranks, you may want to really debate bringing a camera, as the pictures may be used against you later on. Also, check to see if cameras are allowed; not all places allow them.A minor point, but make sure that your wallet has been loaded and works. Don't forget your identification; having a way to identify the body is always a good thing. You also need money; you can't count on finding an ATM in the middle of the wood and bears take salmon, not credit cards. Keep it light, however; if you need more than a hundred or so, you may need to call a bailbondsman. And don't forget a condom or two; you can never tell what will happen, and it always helps to be prepared. A fully-loaded wallet can be a major advantage in the field. And make sure that you have taken care of your last will and testament. If something happens to you, then it's always nice to know that your family has been taken care of. Make sure that your insurance is paid up, and that you have taken care of your children's education, as well. It's those things that make life easier to deal with. There are other things to not forget, but they are along the lines of "make sure that the dog is fed" and "you did remember to turn off the oven, right?". As long as you remember the equipment above, you should have a safe, fun weekend. .Martin Lucchi is a Web Developer for Eclipse Leisure, a British company that organizes hen weekends, stag nights, Corporate Events and corporate Christmas parties for the UK and Europe.
